Thank you Ken Macha.
The Marlins, who were baffled most of the day, finally got to Chris Narveson in the sixth as leadoff batter Chris Coghlan opened up the inning with the Marlins trailing 4-0 and set to face Brewers starter Chris Narveson for the third time. Coghlan took the offering into left field for his first hit of the day...and the inning. After a Gaby Sanchez foul out and Hanley Ramirez double, Jorge Cantu started the scoring for the Marlins with a ground out to short. So with two out, two on, and Cody Ross due up Brewers manager Ken Macha had a decision to make. A. Let Narveson, who had struck out Ross in both previous at bats attempt the hat trick or B. Go to the bullpen. Macha went to the mound to discuss this predicament with his hurler and opted for A.
Bad Move. Cody Ross took Narveson over the left field wall. That evened the score at 4-4 but the Marlins weren't done yet. The inning ended with Sanchez making the third out after a Coghlan triple which brought the innings total to 7. A single inning mark for this years Marlins. By days end the offensive explosion would net a total of 13 runs (including a nifty slide by Uggla and an in-the-parker by Maybin) and a whole lot of excitement for a team who had seen their bats go to sleep the past week. Let's hope these bats stay active.

Marlins Lose 1st Game to Phillies. Now 3 Losses In A Row. Must Pick It Up Quick.
With 1 out in the 9th inning the Marlins had two runners and were down by only one run. Then the veteran closer ,Contreras, struck out Cody Ross with a ridiculous off speed pitch after a 96 mile an hour heater the pitch before. Paulino came up next and quickly hit a shallow pop up which ended the game with Cantu and Uggla stranded after two singles each.
The Marlins have gone from just a few games out of first 3 days ago, to sitting in 4th hoping they don't fall to 5th. The Marlins needed to pick up the majority of the wins over this 10 game home-stretch they, they have not done that so far. They have lost 3 out of their first 4 games. The next two games will be just as difficult as the Phillies always play the fish well as we know.

Marlins Flip Flop As We Fall Back Behind Braves: Game 3 Today
The Marlins loss to the Atlanta Braves yesterday put them right back behind the Braves in 3rd place in the NL East. The bullpen blew the game for Fish after Hanley got it started with a home-run in the first inning.
Tonight Ricky Nolasco is on the mound for the Fish. Last time he faced the Braves he struck out 16 with 9 of them coming in all in a row. Nolasco is (4-3) coming into tonight's game, he will face Tim Hudson who is an impressive 5-1 on the year with just over a 2.0 era.
Here are some stats on the Atlanta lineup vs Nolasco over the past five years from MLB.com
AL vs. Nolasco

Marlins Move Into 2nd In NL East With Win Over Braves
The Marlins moved up in the NL East with their win over Atlanta Tuesday. Anibal Sanchez pitched for the Marlins in the 6-4 win.The Marlins Cameron Maybin hit a home run and they had a three-run eighth inning to pull ahead. If the Marlins can take 7 out of 10 in their current home-stand they will be positioned well through the first third of the season, sitting just out of 1st. The Phillies are only 3 games ahead after their loss last night and they come to town right after the Braves series, so there is potential to take the top spot in the next week or two.
Today's game features Tommy Hanson for the Atlanta Braves and Nate Robertson for the Marlins. Hanson is 3-3 with a 4.18 era and Robertson is 4-4 with a 4.56. it. It is a pretty even matchup pitching wise so hitting should be the key today. The Marlins need at least 5 runs today to be safe and maybe even 6 or 7. We need to keep Robertson in through 6 innings with at east 6-7 strikeouts. if we can do this we should come out on top today, but the Braves will be looking for redemption and to put themselves right back into 2nd.

Florida Marlins Site (Official): Stanton Enjoying Ride En Route To Miami
By Alden Gonzalez / MLB.com
05/24/10 3:50 PM ET
MIAMI -- Mike Stanton, as one might expect, isn't a fan of bus rides.
"I don't like them at all," he said Wednesday after he got off his most recent one, a six-hour trek from Zebulon, N.C., to Sevierville, Tenn., where the Marlins' heralded prospect continued his 2010 surge through Double-A baseball.
Stanton's Minor League success thus far is an uncomfortable one. Not because his hype and current gaudy numbers give him fewer good pitches to hit on a nightly basis, or because those same factors have him conducting about as many interviews as quality at-bats per day. He handles all of that in stride.
It's simply because buses are hard to relax on when you're listed at 6-foot-5 and 235 pounds.
"They're uncomfortable," said Stanton, the No. 3-rated prospect by MLB.com. "I don't really fit in the seats, because I'm so big. I usually just lay down on the floor to stretch my legs out a little bit."
